Admin notification

I would like WP Admin to be notified when a new user account is created. I have tried various notification plugins to make this happen but nothing has worked.

I have managed to get Woocommerce registration page to send Admin notification by following Makarand Mane’s answer on this post: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14343928/woocommerce-new-customer-admin-notification-email

I’m hoping you could help me with a similar code that would work for your plugin?
