Admin notification of others forgotten password?

In fact not. It’s not a WP default action.
I just tested and only the user that lost his password is receiving the reset email, not the other admins. I tested by creating a new admin user and then clicked for lost password using this new email address.

Maybe my question was not clear:
I understand when a user asks to reset his password he gets notified with an email that provides a link for password reset. But I’m asking whether it is possible to notify the site’s admin whenever this happens.

Hi @dsl225, You’re right, I didn’t understand your question :-). Normally such a mail will not be sent to de site admin because it has sensible information in it (the reset link). Maybe that’s why an admin does not receive such an e-mail. I will take a look at this, it’s a good feature to support this I think.

Yes, it can be very useful in some particular cases, for instance when you want to have only a single admin active for a site and you want to give someone (a client or coworker) an admin account to use ONLY in case of emergency. You create the account but don’t give him the password, so that he can retrieve it ONLY in such emergency cases. If he resets his password, it will mean that he will have admin access and the original admin will be notified.

Of course there are some alternatives such as plugins that monitor all users activities but your plugin would be way simpler and lighter for such use.
