• Hey..

    I have completed my website https://www.jasdipsagu.com but have noticed within blogs, that if somebody leaves a comment or gets a reply no-one seems to get an email notification.

    I have tried a couple of plugins but this doesn’t seem to help,

    – Comment Reply Email Notification
    – Subscribe to Comments Reloaded

    Would appreciate any help

    The log in Postman SMTP should help you figure out what the issue is.

    I sent a test message – ‘Your message was delivered (4218 ms) to the SMTP server! Congratulations :)’

    I get nothing in my inbox..

    When I posted a comment and click on subscribe wordpress throws an error and there the comment notification and subscription cannot be executed.

    Have you tried to enable the debug mode under the wp-config.php file ?

    Also have you tried to disabled all the others plugins and just leave active Postman SMTP and StCR?

    Then you have a Spam problem… your SMTP server/domain/SPF combination is probably invalid. I’ve written a couple articles, but each case is different:

    Jason Hendriks – Yeah, thats what GoDaddy are saying but they can’t figure out ‘what type’ of email is being blocked unless I can successfully get one sent to them which lets them \unblock’ this particular ‘spam’..I.e. email within contact form is actually being sent to my inbox, just not comment / subscriber notification within Blog page…

    Looks in Postman’s log (Tools > Email Log) and privately send me a copy of one of your session transcripts. I’ll see if something is configured wrong for you.

    I see you are using Mandrill to send your email. Did you know that they are now a paid only service? That might be why Mandrill has refused to deliver your email.

    If you are using Mandrill to deliver your email, that has nothing to do with GoDaddy.

    I didn’t realise. But even deactivating StCR doesn’t seem to work anyway?

    StCR is not the problem, you have something wrong in your WordPress installation, might be folder permissions or a file corrupted.

    Your problem is beyond the plugins described on this issue. The only way to help you is that you grant access to your site to verify it.

    I know I need someone to check out the backend but I don’t know of anyone that can help ??

    I am posting new blogs and I am afraid that myself & commentators are not going to be notified of any updates.
