Admin order searching

Hi there,

We have a site with over 30,000 orders in it and lately, the admin search on the orders screen has been returning inconsistent results. For example, searching for the name ‘Karen Li’ her order cannot be found but searching for ‘Li’ the order displays in the search results, if we search for just ‘Karen’ the order does not display in results.

Similar things happen or work perfectly fine depending on what name is searched for, seemingly without any consistency.

Does anyone else out there experience a similar problem? Is 30,000 orders too much for the wordpress admin search to handle?

Any ideas for how to go about fixing, troubleshooting this issue?
