Admin “override” of required form fields

    Hi,

    this is probably more of a suggestion than a question, but it would be very useful if I as admin could add a booking without filling in the required fields that a customer has to fill in.

    In addition to people booking their appointments on our website I have a lot calling on the phone, so I am adding them through the booking form myself. Collecting their address and phone number is a government requirement at the moment, but I’d rather add those later when the customer is in the store than getting all the info over the phone.

    So it would be helpful if either the admin is able to skip required fields or if the form on the admin side didn’t have the requirements. Does that make sense?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late. We have just added that feature for optionally ignoring the required field validation in the backend. In the backend there is a new settings field labeled “Ignore validation of required fields?” at the top of the “Add Booking” page.

    Please update to the latest plugin version (version #1.1.34 or later).
