Admin Page/ Dashboard Not Loading

  • My Admin Page/ Dashboard isn’t loading. Anyone have this problem, or know how to solve it?

    And I can’t click anything when the page does actually load.

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked. You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    I updated WordPress and made a little progress. The admin page still doesn’t really load.

    Where are the FTP folders? (I’ve never seen them before)

    On the server – you need to ask your hosting company about accessing them via FTP or Cpanel. Then find and rename the plugins folder:

    wordpress
   wp-content
      pluginsHOLD

    When I change the name folder name to “pluginsHOLD” I get this error:

    W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home3/feelini6/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.
