Admin page lost, replaced with warning text

  • Hi

    My admin page has disappeared and in its place is this text.
    Any ideas please? I’m not sure if I can even do anything, with no access at all to admin.

    Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the entire /wp-e-commerce/ directory.

    This will remove the plugin causing the problem.

    Next, I recommend reporting the issue at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-e-commerce/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Thanks so much for your help.

    When I try to access https://ftp.longcroft,net I get the same bunch of warnings and nothing else.

    I have managed to get access to my WP dashboard in another browser though. Can I delete the wp-e-commerce/directory there?

    Make sure you consult your hosting provider’s FTP documentation. FTP is not a URL you visit in your browser.

    If you managed to do that some how then you can simply deactivate the plugin there.

    I’e deactivated the wp-e-commerce plug-in and now I just get these warnings.

    This will force the default theme to activate, restoring your site.
