admin page not allowing me Visual editing

  • I have been having many problems with my WP blog since I installed it. In an attempt to resolve the main problem, I installed a new theme. Since doing that (perhaps coincidentally), my admin utility won’t allow me to use the Visual editor. Though the Visual editor is selected, it only shows HTML. The weird thing is that I cannot select the HTML editor.

    Please help me!

  • I had the same problem after making some changes.

    The solution I had was to delete the following folders

    wp-admin and wp-includes

    and upload fresh folders from the latest version. It worked fine after that.

    have you checked in your profile to see if the use visual editor box is checked. Hope you get there.

    Refresh your screen (or restart your browser)
