Admin page won't load

  • Hello,

    I am having trouble loading my WordPress Admin page. The site will load but very slowly and sometimes won’t load at all. I want to get in to my dashboard to clear some of the plug ins because that seems to be slowing the site, but I can’t even get in to my dashboard to do this.

    First, how can I get in to my dashboard? Second what can I do to avoid this problem in the future?

    I am knew to all this so please respond with easy to understand directions.
