Admin pages not working 'Failed loading resources'

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m having the following problem with my self hosted WP (3.3.1) blog https://webloginjapan.com

    At some point a specific set of admin pages stopped working properly (see list below) – JQuery stuff not working (no admin bar at the top, ‘Help’ and ‘Screen options’ tabs and dynamic menu not working, etc.)

    Here is the list of pages:
    wp-admin/edit.php
    except when post_type = page
    wp-admin/post-new.php#screen-options-wrap
    wp-admin/edit-tags.php
    wp-admin/upload.php
    wp-admin/post.php
    wp-admin/edit-comments.php
    wp-admin/widgets.php
    wp-admin/nav-menus.php

    According to Google Chrome’s console:
    ‘Failed to load resource’ and it then gives the name of the page

    The problems are the same across browsers on Windows and Mac but not on Linux(!!)
    I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and reverting to the Twentyten theme, to no avail!

    Does anyone have any idea of what may be going on?

    I am having the same problem, it’s the widgets page which is causing the major issue because it doesn’t work.

    Did you manage to get around this issue?

    Hi Andrew,

    In the end it was a problem with the hosting and as the hosting company dragged their feet, the only solution was to move ??
