    Hello

    How ya all doing ?

I have this strange problem with my wordpress website. I bought a vps and installed fresh copy of wordpress over there with couple of posts.

The front end part of websites works fine with super speed, But the admin panel is very slow and takes ages to load.

First I thought it might be problem with my downloaded wordpress files so I downloaded again fresh copy of wordpress and installed, Still the same problem.

Anyone have a clue why admin panel is so slow and front website works super fast ?

  • Hi, do you have any plugins active that could be causing an issue? Try disabling them all to see if it helps speed up your admin as there could be a confliction occuring somewhere down the line.

    Hope this helps.

Hi there, you can check for any plugins loading issues with P3 Plugin Performance Profiler

Query Monitor will help you understand the overloads in your backend (and whole site) and you can combine it with a debugging plugin( there are plenty in the WordPress repository).

If you’re able also make a staging website and try to load it on PHP7.

Since you’re on VPS, it would be useful to provide us the technologies your server using.
Your WordPress running on APACHE with Nginx, or are you using Varnish, any details (after the debugging) will be useful so we can understand your problem deeper.

    Cheers!
