Admin panel login extremely slow

    I installed the new wordpress version 4.2.3 on Ubuntu server 14.04 with Apache 2.4.7. But if i try to login into admin panel it takes very long time, about 30 seconds. I don’t have any plugin installed. On the site itself the posts and other links are loading normally. But on the dashboard the links to Appearance, Plugins, Settings also are loading extremely slow.

    Any idea what is causing this?
