Admin Panel Slow

  • I’m running the WordPress latest version on my website, and my admin panel has been incredibly slow! Also after posting a new page it takes forever to see it on my website. Any tips about what is making this slow down? Everything is fine (and fast) on the front. The only issue is working on the WordPress admin panel. It takes an average of more than 30 seconds to load this dashboard page. And the editing or adding a new page also has same problem.

    I’ve already did the following things and nothing improved so far.

    • Uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh WordPress copy.
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled all plugins, and using the Wp-Supercache plugin.
    • Switched to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
    • Disabled the RSS feeds on header.php
    • Disabled the admin bar

    Is there any one experienced this issue and overcome it?

  • Have same problem here, for example, all articles page loads in 20 seconds.

    Have done a pcap network capture, but I can understand it ??

    But what I understand, and from what i’ve already tested, it looks like it’s not a database size/speed problem, but more timeouts/pings/pingbacks with other servers. I have no idea how to solve this.

    I’ve got 20 plugins installed, 18 of them could not be removed :s
