admin panel won't load

    Yesterday I tried to access my admin panel and nothing loaded. Literally nothing. No dashboard, no error message, nothing. Just a blank screen. I can log in and log out through the toolbar that pops up on my site, but it still just takes me to a blank, white page.

    The site itself still works fine.

    I thought it might be a server downtime thing, but a day later it’s still not working.

    I believe it first occurred after deleting a plugin.

    Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    Okay, I seem to have fixed this. I went into my site’s files and changed the name of the plugins folder to plugins.disabled.

    This gave me back my access to the admin panel.

    Then, I created a new plugins folder and moved the individual plugin folders (ex: jetpack, askimet, etc) to the new folder one by one. After that, I re-activated all the plugins I needed, and the problem has yet to repeat itself.
