Admin permissions?

  • Hi all,

    I have a site that is set up and has been running for a while. The other day I went to delete a comment in moderation and it would not allow it.

    I found that I can not do anything, edit/create/modify – users, pages, posts, cat’s, etc.

    Its acting like I do not have admin access. Any ideas? I did search the forums and found kind of the same type of issues but not mine. I did clear cache and did a integrity check on the DB.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
