    Hi,

I activated WP Security Audit Log and it returns too many redirect error, cannot access WP admin dashboard at all.

I manually remove WP Security Audit log directory in /plugins/ but now I am redirected to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wsal-auditlog whenever I login with the message “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    How to solve it?

Sorry to hear you are encountering such an issue @lcf

The only redirects we have are in the code, so if you deleted the plugin directory then you should not be redirected. Can you please double check that all plugin files were deleted?

Maybe you have the trial or premium edition installed as well? If that is the case you’ll have two directories:

    /wp-security-audit-log/
    /wp-security-audit-log-premium/

    Thanks for reply.

It is a new site. only free version installed. I deleted the plugin folder.

I solved it by visit a page, edit page then back to the dashboard. The redirection is gone after that.

Glad to hear that you solved the issue. However, we still cannot understand what could have happened.

If you have more details please let us know.

    Have a great weekend.
