• I was setting up my site on a new host and when I imported my wp import file, the content came through but the categories disappeared. That is, they exist in the database, but I can not see or edit them in the admin. The only workaround is to disable the plugin, make my changes to the category, and then reactivate the plugin again.

When the plugin is active, I can not see any posts, and therefore not set the language of the categories. The content does display on the frontend.

Have you seen this before and is there a fix or is this a new bug?

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi,

Maybe you activated the admin language filter in the admin toolbar, thus hiding your categories which are not in the filtered language?

    Hey,

I can’t test that since I’m using WordPress.comm that admin bar is never shown. Same issue on another site. I tried changing the default lang to another lang and then back to English, and clicked on the “set default lang on posts that don’t have it” option too.

Any other ideas? When I’m on the post categories section, it looks like 1 lang is trying to take over even though its not the default.
