• I have a few writers on my blog. When I go in as admin and publish a post, it shows up under one of their accounts as if they wrote it THUS giving them authority to change it.

    Any thoughts?

  • In your wp_posts table the post_author field is the id number for the associated wp_user record that wrote the post.

Using phpMyAdmin what do you see for those posts?

They range from 1-8. No overlap under users.
However, when I went into one of the posts to try to manually update the author associated with the post, I noticed that admin (my login) isn’t even an option. It seems to be distributing all my posts to everyone else.

any thoughts on this? my posts (as written by admin) are accessible to my other writers at the moment. I dont want them to be able to make changes to my content.
    thanks
