Admin Privileges Lost

    when I attempted to access my dashboard today, I received the message “Sorry you are not allowed to access this page”.

    I deactivated my plugins one by one and my admin access only returned when I deactivated the MailPoet plugin.

    Please advise on what steps I should take to further troubleshoot this problem.

    Thanks for writing in! That’s certainly odd. Can you let me know if you have any user management or user role editor plugins, installed?

    Yes, I do have Members plugin installed and activated on 1 site (multisite).

    Removing Members plugin from the plugin directory doesn’t solve the problem.

    HOWEVER, I mistaken on my original post in that removing only Mailpoet restores access. I’ve discovered that removing either Mailpoet OR the WP Statistics plug-in restores admin access.

    I will check in the WP Statistics support forum for assistance as well.
