As an update to this, I no longer have any access to the admin area. Since no-one from the plugin developer has the decency to reply, I am left with no alternative than to reinstall wordpress and assume that this plugin is useless. I would strongly advise people NOT to use this plugin.

    Hey there akingsail,

Hope you’re well today and sorry for the delay ??

There is a handy little snippet that allows you create admin account by adding it into theme functions.php.

    Please check the following link:

Have a great day and please let us know if you need additional assistance ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan

    Hi @akingsail,

I’m terribly sorry you had that trouble previously but I hope Bojan’s solution helps sort it out.

As you didn’t mention what it was that caused you to lose access as Admin, I wasn’t sure if this was related directly to Membership but if so, we’d love to assist if it’s still an issue.

In case it helps to mention too, the following article shows how to add a new Admin through the database, and can be used for reference to change the user role:
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-an-admin-user-to-the-wordpress-database-via-mysql/

I hope Bojan’s and my own response have been helpful. We’d love to assist if you have any questions, we’re keeping a keen eye going forward.

    Meanwhile, I hope you’re having a great week. ??

    Thanks,
    David
