• I have many users who are unable to access content. They login and their account profile shows INACTIVE but as Admin I see ACTIVE.

Also, why does creating a Subscriber create a WordPress user? The users can then access the Dashboard and when they do that, the new widget you created shows them everyone’s account info? This seems like a total breach?

They user could be still active but expired. Be sure and check their expiration date and see if they have expired.

Here is some documentation on how to hide the admin from your subscribers.

In the next update we will only show the dashboard to admin users in cases like this where subscribers still have access to the WordPress dashboard.

The user is active and not expired. User still unable to login. It’s not just one user, it’s many.

When creating the Subscribers, is it possible to uncheck “Show Toolbar when viewing site” flag?

What are your thoughts? This odd behavior began after the last update.

Many paid users are unable to access content because they are seeing their accounts are INACTIVE when Admin’s see them ACTIVE and NOT EXPIRED.

I have been trying to get their help on this exact problem for 3 days.

Even paid for priority customer support, but they aren’t responding to emails, tweets, nothing.

I’ve got subscribers requesting refunds by the boatload, too, so it’s kind of infuriating.

What’s the good word? We’re stranded. Refunding left and right … this is a disaster?! What happened? We went from working to not … all in an update?

techworld…I asked Peter for help at [email removed] and he got the issue fixed pretty quick. There is apparently a new update 4.0.1 that addressed the issue.

Now, my users are unable to access the Dashboard entirely. When I try and login as an Editor, the toolbar is gone (even though it’s activated) and when I try and access the Dashboard it redirects users to the homepage.

    Soo… this whole Active/Inactive thing.

    Is it a solved/solveable problem?

We’re experiencing the same thing with our publication and need to get something fixed before August 1st.

I’ve contacted Zeen support–no response yet.

    We are looking at this.

Keep in mind if the account type is “Stripe” and there isn’t a subscriber ID, it cannot get the status from Stripe and will fail the login.
