Admin Settings Page Not working

  • On the settings page, the table row showing ‘Minimum role to view records’ displays the html code for the select object instead of a functioning select object.

    At the bottom of the form, the submit button displays “Save Settings /></p></form> <div style=”. That button DOES submit the form, but forces the Menu/Plural Label and Secondary/Singular Label values to “Elementor DB”, and can’t be changed via this form (I assume those are the default values). I have to edit the database directly if I want those changed.

    A little background. I inherited the site using this plugin. I did look at the plugin code first and it looked very straight-forward. Then I looked at the HTML page containing the final form. Apparently the final form is generated by the Elementor / Elementor Pro plugins using input from the Contact Form DB plugin.

    If anyone recognizes the error and can help I would appreciate your insight. However, I can see that unraveling this is challenging since there are several layers of plugins involved and I’m not prepared to work out which plugins are actually in play.
