Admin settings don’t show in WP 4.8.1/ PHP 7.0

  • As per the title, the admin settings menu option doesn’t seem to appear and trying to hit the url for the settings page directly results in a “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” message.

    I am a full site Admin.
