I have a multisite install hosted on WP Engine.

The issue I’m experiencing is that all settings entered into Yoast via /wp-admin/ simply disappear after I click “Save changes” on all settings pages: Titles & Meta, Social, Advanced, etc.

I deactivated all plugins except Yoast itself (including Network Activated plugins).

I changed the theme to Twenty Seventeen.

There are no errors in the javascript console.

    I reinstalled WordPress 4.9.1

I deleted all plugins files & re-installed WordPress SEO by Yoast

General WordPress settings save, so the problem does appear to be limited to the Yoast plugin.

The kicker? This only happens on one sub-site. Weird right??

To this clue, I confirmed that both the Yoast database tables are intact for the malfunctioning sub-site.

I can provide admin access credentials privately.

Any crack troubleshooters enticed by this puzzle box? I’d love to hear from you! Thanks ??

If you have already performed a complete conflict check on both other plugins and the theme and you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
