    Hi.

My site is on WP 6.2 and User Registration plugin v. 2.3.3.1.

In the admin section, I cannot choose the other main tabs Integration, Emails, Import/Export, and Misc. Only the General tab shows. Nothing happens on clicking the other tabs.

It seems to be a “Syntax error, unrecognized expression”. I also see a “.nav-tab-content” being prepended to the tab link. See:

I look forward to your solution asap. Thanks.

    Hi @daskm,

It seems that there is a conflict between the plugin. Could you please refer to this documentation https://docs.wpeverest.com/user-registration/docs/how-to-check-plugin-theme-conflict/ and follow the instruction kindly? This will let you know the cause of the error.

Let me know if it helps or not, and I will get back to you.

    Regards!

Thanks for your reply. But the troubleshooting mode doesn’t work well for the WP admin area. When User Registration was only enabled for troubleshooting, the problem disappeared. But when I tried to enable the other plugins one by one, most of them couldn’t be enabled.

As far as I can recall, the problem started after updating to WP 6.2. So could this be a problem of plugin incompatibility with WP 6.2 or PHP 8 or jquery or something else?

    Hi @daskm,

The problem is not from the WordPress version and PHP 8. Other users also use the same plugin file; we have already tested it in our local environment.

If the user registration plugin activation only resolves your issue, we are 100% sure the problem is from our plugin. If the troubleshooting does not work on your site, you must manually activate and deactivate the plugin on your site.

Please note that deactivating and activating the plugin does not affect your plugin’s settings and configurations.

    Regards!

I manually deactivated and started activating the plugins one by one. The problem was with the “Secure Copy Content Protection and Content Locking” plugin. They resolved the issue as other users were also having similar problems. The plugin has been updated, and now it works fine.

See this support forum post: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/secure-copy-content-protection-bug/

Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated!
