    Hi all,

What I am trying to do is possibly have two admin themes based on user levels. When I am logged in I want to see the normal admin theme but when lower users are logged in I want them to see a VERY simple theme.

I would quite possibly like to incorporate WordPress Admin Bar into this but I’m not sure what direction I should be heading in.

I know there will be a clean way to do this but I would like suggestions.

    Cheers
    Chris

  • this is something i’m very interested in as well.

i’d really like the ability to have a simpler admin theme (with less writing/editing options) for non-admin users (contributors, authors, editors).

Count me in as another user interested in this. I have contributors who really only need to post and view their profile. Nothing more. they will only be confused by most of the extra options.

You guys should check out ‘adminimize’ and ‘role scoper’. These plugins will solve all your problems.

Nonetheless, I am also looking for the ability to load different admin style sheets based on user level. Any ideas?
