Ok, I’ve never run across this before and apparently it just started happening. We enter the correct event times inside the event listing “When” box and ensuring that “All Day” is not checked. Upon hitting “Publish” the each time reverts to minus 5 hours. So if I enter a start time of 8:00am and end time of 5:00pm, they will revert back to 3:00am and 12:00pm respectively. This appears to only affect the “When” box because the admin area event listings and the front end events show the correct times. Ghost in the machine? Thanks.

The problem mentioned above is on a live hosted server. I just double checked this with a different theme, etc on a localhost installation. The same thing is happening. Different time-zone, etc. In fact, the WP Time-zone setting doesn’t seem to affect it. Still 5 hours difference. Only affecting the “When” box. Thanks.

Does it always jump by five hours? Is your timezone five hours ahead / behind UTC?

Yes, always 5 hours. My localhost timezone is (Central US). Live site is (Mountain US). Strange.

can you try to use manual offset instead of per city settings in your wp settings > general ?
