Admin username not vaild new wordpress

  • I had my wordpress working perfectly yesterday but this morning all my posts were 0 and my site was unusually slow. I backed up the database for posts and comments and tried restoring but it did not work.
    Next I deleted my wordpress database and deleted the directory. I then installed a new wordpress and now everytime I login after installation I get the error message Invalid username for admin. I’ve tried this 5 times and the same thing happens.

    Also when I request a new password I get
    ERROR: There is no user registered with that email address.

    I would take a look at your database, specifically at the wp_users table, and see if there are even any users.

    yea admin is there. I’ve tried renaming it and also changing the md5 password to something else, but nothing seems to work.

    I created new database with a different name than my previous working wordpress. Now I am getting the error
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_wp_error() in
    wpb/wp-settings.php on line 213

    I tried a 2nd time and get this error
    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in wpb/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1415

    I managed to install it once again but the same problem arises. ?? life is so unfair.

    I have just had the same problem – did you get any help with this problem. I am completely stuck with it.
