• Hello all,

I can’t seem to figure out why in my widget admin menu I can’t drag and drop. I had a fresh local install of wordpress 3.0.1 with all the same plugins as my live site, but drag and drop only works on my local site.

I’ve disabled all plugins and reverted to the default theme but it still doesn’t work.
    Here is the site: https://www.durhamdigs.ca/

    cheers,
    jim

  • I’m having a similar problem, and I tried installing the Google Libraries Plugin, but to no avail.
    I’m getting the error:
“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘apply’ of undefined”
In Chome’s Developer Tools, originating on line 9 of jquery-ui.min.js.
Interestingly, it doesn’t seem like installing Google Libraries actually had any affect, as everything is still being loaded from the site itself, not from Google’s CDN.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Friends !!

There is solution to enable drag n drop feature in your Dashboard.

Just Disable accessibility Mode from Screen options below the Logout link on your admin panel.

    Thanks,

    Daman.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t work–you cannot open the panel containing that link.

You have to update your wordpress admin.

    It is working for me.

    Hi All,

I am trying to drag any link to wordpress editor in IE, but unable to drag and drop the hyper link in wordpress editor.
    Any suggestion will be appreciated.

    Hi Everyone,

Google libraries fixed the issue for me. ??

Thanks very much for posting this information.

    All,

I was having the same drag/drop problem in FF 4 while trying to reorder pages in the WP nav menu builder. Ran the usual plugin checks and eventually found out it was the Firebug console causing the problem. I just killed the Firebug frame and everything functioned as it should. Just something to watch for…
