    Dear All,

my website has been hacked, following the indications that I read on the forum and on the documentation I could fix a lot, deleted all the fictive administrators and customers, installed wordfence and scanned, etc.

Now I have still the problem with the administrator email, that I don’t know how, figured out to change to an generic [email protected] that does not exist. I tried to change to my email back but it require the approval of the previous email?! So how I can correct this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    • if you are referring to the email address displayed in the SETTINGS > GENERAL area – that can be controlled directly in the OPTIONS table of the database (often available in your webhosting account in an area PHPMYADMIN)
    • if you are referring to the email address related to a specific USER – that can be controlled directly in the USERS table of the database (often available in your webhosting account in an area PHPMYADMIN)
