adobe products question for web creation (lightroom)

this is probably a very dumb question but can anyone help me figure out if there are adobe products that i could use to create a /portfolio/ website in a similar manner to the one that i created using F8 static in WP?

i am about to move a ton of images that i have already organized in aperture (mac) – with albums that are easily (!) posted to FLICKR and i am considering moving them to LIGHTROOM (adobe). and basically i can’t get over the ease with which i can change and create and post these albums.

using the WP image handler is going to make this very cumbersome process which i will not want to edit and i am wondering if i can do something with an adobe product or even embed some kind of image viewer in a very simple WP theme so that i handle the images in a more convenient way similar to my use of FLICKR albums in aperture.

any thoughts? are WP products basically much easier to use for /creating/ a blog whereas the adobe products would need heavy customization or how does this work? etcetera, etcetera.
