adoid overselling products

  • When having for example 5 items in stock for one product it is somehow possible to add more than these 5 items (for example 10) in the shopping cart and to proceed to checkout.

    What can I do to prevent an overselling?
    I want to achieve, that it is not possible to put more items in the shopping cart, than available.

    Is there a way to implement this? Maybe with a plugin?
