Plan to display events from different countries.

Is there s shortcode/placeholder that displays the adress format according to the country’s standards?

in many European countries you use
    STREET_NAME HOUSE_NUMBER
    POSTAL_CODE LOCALITY
    COUNTRYNAME

    whereas in UK
    it’s
    HOUSE_NUMBER STREET_NAME
    LOCALITY
    POSTAL_CODE
    COUNTRYNAME

    or in the U.S.
    HOUSE_NUMBER STREET_NAME
    LOCALITY PROVINCE_ABBREVIATION POSTAL_CODE
    COUNTRYNAME

I think changing the formatting only works for one single country. But what I need is different formatting according to country’s adress standard formats.

I have events from different countries, so changing just the formatting doesn’t work for me.

    Any other suggestions?

Sorry, this isn’t something that’s supported at the moment.

Thanks for your info. Is this a feature planned for the future or not at all? Right now the only option I see would be adding the Zip code to the city field according the standard address format of a country but this makes only sense if not allowing user transmission. I fear otherwise it would confuse users.

another way is to use custom location attributes and then create conditional placeholder for this location attributes using this tutorial – https://snippets.webaware.com.au/snippets/events-manager-conditional-placeholders-for-custom-attributes/ (changing event with location)
