I guess that you refer to the ad unit above the “Read more” buttons. How do you inject these ads? Do you use a placement, or do you embed the Advanced Ads ad unit there manually?

No, I have not refer the ad unit there. I have created plan text and code ads type. I have created ad unit in the AdSense Ads unit as in-article ad. I copied the code snippet from that in-article ad unit and past it in my advanced ads plugin option, “plain text and code”.

Actually, the in.article format is meant to be inserted in posts and pages. For archive pages, you should rather use in.feed ads.

However, I can’t see any in.article ad on the buyers guide archive page that you implement there with Advanced Ads.

I only see an ad under the pagination there, and it doesn’t look like you inserted it with Advanced Ads. Can you give me a hint where I can find the ad you are referring to here?

Please, remove the archive: category condition. This one is made to target ads to archive category pages, but not to posts that belong to a specific category. If you are going to limit ads to posts that belong to a specific category, please, use the category condition instead.

Afterward, I recommend creating a placement and assigning this ad unit to this placement. A good starting point can be the content injection placement with the configuration to implement ads after, e.g., the 2nd paragraph.

The content placement does only inject ads into posts and pages, not into archive pages like the category page or the homepage of your website.

I have followed your instructions and remove the archive: category condition and implement “category” instead. But ads are still showing on all the posts under other category as well.
