Ads are not showing

    Hey ,
    I need a little help.
    I ‘ve created ad unit on my adsense account – Display unit.
    Added new ad in my wp backend – connected with the display unit, in a position after the post content, following the instructions.
    Tried with a dummy ad, it’s working well.
    But the ad I want to show is blank.
    The position is showing (with the “advertise” label on it ) but the space is empty.
    I am not using any adblockers.
    So what am I doing wrong?

    Also, I wanted to ask you if it’s possible to show only ads from a certain category – music, books , and etc.

    thanks for reaching out.

    If a dummy ad works and you are seeing the label then it is likely an issue with your AdSense account. In most cases, new ad units just need a few minutes and impressions from real users to start showing. I would suggest waiting for a day before we go into deeper analysis.

    You could limit the categories of ads displayed on your website, but that would limit the competition on it and decrease the potential click prices.

    You can find that option in your AdSense account under Blocking controls > Content > All sites > General categories. But really, I would advice to not use it.
