Hello, I have a problem with the behavior of Advanced Ads’ banners on different devices. I’ve set some banners not to display under 320 px and on Mobile devices but that does not work. How can I set banners to appear different on different devices?

    Hi pasitata,

I am sorry to read that you have an issue with ads on different devices.

The most common reason for ads that are limited to a specific user group is caching. Does your site use any caching plugin?

Yes, I use WP Rocket but I often clear cache.
Banner of “SIKA” (header) for instance is set not to be seen on mobile devices but only on desktop. I set second one – “SIKA mobi” to be seen on mobile devices on different position (head 3) top from left.

    Hi Ilia,

the problem with caching is that every visitor sees the cached version. When you clear the cache, you are only solving the problem for the next visitor. Every following visitor sees the same version again, which is either mobile or desktop, depending on what the first visitor used.

I wrote about ads and caching in this article. The solution is our cache-busting (Pro feature).
