'ads' control panel won't show up on admin dashboard

I am having the same problem. After the latest update, the ads control panel has disappeared. Is there a fix for this or a way to manually change the add shown? I can’t get rid of my January ad.

Phew it’s not just me, I use this plugin to display logos, and this morning I went to change on of the logos and the “ADS” tag is missing.

I hope there is a fix very soon.

I really hope so, but looking at the questions that have not been answered by the developer over the last few weeks and months, I am not sure.

At the moment I am looking for a replacement plugin that does the same kind of thing, as I use it, not for ads but to show links to other websites.

I may have find the reason why the WP 125 plugin is not showing up in your WordPress dashboard. Are you by any chance running a plugin called Better WP Security? If so, if you deep activate it in the plugin screen the “Ads” Tab will reappear. I am trying to work out which option within Better WP Security makes this disappear. As soon as I had some information I will post it here.

Hi there,

Are you using Better WP security, this is the plugin that I found was the problem. You need to go into the settings and change the setting under Various Security Tweaks. Look under Dashboard Tweaks and turn all three options OFF, also turn OFF file editor in WordPress Back-end abd then things should work just fine. You may need to change your htaccess file.

The other way is to remove the Better WP security and reload it, it is a great plugin and helps to keep your website safe.
