Ads For WP & Google Site Kit

Good Day;
Can you tell me if setting AUTOADS in ADS FOR WP (currently set to GLOBALLY in my case) is just duplicating Google SITE KIT and should be removed? (i.e. it is just extra code that could cause conflicts or is it still necessary for some reason?)

and my AdSense account is set to AUTOADS enabled.
I have NOT added those Google code snippets to my HEAD or POSTS, so I think it will fail but I thought it was worth asking the experts about the best way to insert AutoAds into my AMP.
Currently I have your ADS FOR WP configured:
