    Hi guys.

Let’s say Company A says to me, “Hey, I want to place an ad on your site.”

What do I do? Do I need to create a special link to their product? Also, I’d like to NOT charge per click. I’d rather charge per purchase made through the click. Is this possible?

Forgive me for being a noob. I really don’t know what to search for. ?? I see a lot of stuff online on pay per click, but how about this other way I’m talking about? How do I manage this system?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. ??

  • Company A could provide you with a snippet of code for you to include on your site.
They could include a tracking code which they can use to see which purchases on their site originated on your site. Like affiliate tracking.

If it’s a small business who don’t have that expertise, you could include an image ad for Company A, charge a fixed rate per month.

If you really want to track for purchases, maybe something like Google Analytics custom tracking code attacked to the image/code snippet. You could probably hire a developer to do this as a small job.

Let me know if anything above needs clarification.

No problem, good luck. Can you please mark this as resolved? Thank you.
