Hello. I don’t want ads in header, but Adsense puts it again and again. 2 weeks ago I thought, that the problem is solved, as I switched to manual ads placement. But today they are back there. Adsense editing tab shows this place as removed. On the site there is ads on this place. Anchor ads in Adsense editing tab are also disactivated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi tromari,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I checked your page but could not reproduce the described behavior but what you describe sounds like it could be caused by Google Auto ads.

The AdSense “Auto ads” function can place ads automatically on your site. They decide about position, size, and number of ads.

If you enabled Auto ads through Advanced Ads then you can remove their code in Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense > Verification code & Auto ads.

However, AdSense can also inject Auto Ads through individual ad units. You can only disable that behavior directly in your AdSense account. Go to your AdSense Dashboard > Ads > Overview > By site, then click on your website and disable Auto ads in the Ad Settings section.

You can follow this tutorial and learn how to place AdSense ads manually on your site. This makes sure that AdSense ads will appear on positions of your choice on mobile and desktop.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning

Thank you for the answer. I try to solve this futher. I am not alone – other people have the same question and received still no answer from Adsense. Full manual mode is for me too radical, I am not so experienced, but probably it is only one posibility. Best regards.

    Hi tromari,

    Thanks for your response.

I agree that placing the ads manually is the only way to gain full controls about your ad appearance. You are welcome to try the suggested placing options from our manual.

I also recommend having a look at the path on advertising taken by our user Peer.

If you have further questions regarding Advanced Ads, please don’t hesitate to open up a new topic in this forum.

    Best regards,
    Henning

Hello, I had the same issue. Try to test to switch off in Advanced Ads Settings the first option under “Admin” for the Ads Check option. It has removed the Header ads and seems to have been forcing a bug from Advanced Ads that result in placement conflicts with google auto ads. Let my know if it works for you.

    Hi elgurude,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The option your are referring to does remove the Advanced Ads Ad Health option in the admin bar only visible for logged in users.

This should not interfere with the AdSense integration in any way.
I am also not aware of such a conflict you described with Google Auto Ads.

Would it be possible to see the issue on your website for further inspection?

You are welcome to open up a new topic on this forum providing additional information about your case and I would be more than happy to dig into this.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hello elgurude,
You are right, it works. I checked it with autorisation and without on another computer. It is seltsam, because I have Advanced Ads on my main domain und two subdomains and there is this problem only on subdomains. I don’t think that the bug is connected with Advanced Ads, rather from Adsense side, because I fight with it whole month. The ads was also sticky, it was dreadful. Therefore, I installed the Advanced Ads to set most of the ads manually and reduced ads from Adsense to a minimum. It helped, but after two weeks the ads came back. Not sticky anymore, but still very annoying. Your method helped, let’s see how it goes next.
    Thank you for advice.
