Ads Not Appearing After Domain Move

  • Ok I recently moved my blog from one host which is frogee to dreamhost and I also in addition had to purchase a new domain name and while I moved and restored everything and also replace the old links with the new domain like I noticed something. The ads that I had on the old blog don’t appear on the new blog. The code is there but they images and ads don’t appear. I’ve tried editing the template files but nothing changes

    Anyone have an idea to why it might be doing that?

  • How are the ads called upon? Are they adsense, or an affiliate, or do you use a wordpress ad plugin, or a seperate ad manager?

    They are adsense and a few that are affiliate, Another thing also is I’ve tried to add images to the footer to see if maybe it was because of the url of the adesense and affiliate not showing because its linked to the old domain but I noticed that when I add new image files to the footer they don’t appear

    If you add images to your footer, and they do not appear. Then you have a problem. I would make sure your paths are correct.
