ads not inserting into “Download Manager” file pages

I clicked the green gear if that is what you mean, I see no debugging tab so I dont know how to enable that or remote debugging.

It shows positions, but none of the blocks are being inserted into them. This is the only plugin it does not seem to work with.

I found the option and enabled it. There is some documentation confusion between the admin bar gear and the back end settings gear

The adsense auto ads seems to put one in every now and then, but I also have blocks defined for Before Post, After Content, Footer, and After Paragraph that dont work on this page.

The problem is that your plugin “Download Manager” calls the_content filter 63 times on that page for every single page item. Normally this filter should be called only once to allow other plugins to process content and insert their stuff.

Because of many filter calls and your settings, blocks are not inserted for the following reasons:

It is not possible to reliably use automatic insertion in such conditions.

I suggest to use insertion before/after HTML element:

How can the max page blocks check fail if zero are displayed despite how many times the parser is called?

Because for some calls blocks are inserted but it seems this processed content is then not used or visible.

Not a very good approach to use the_content filter. You can’t rely on it.

Probably due to the tabbed content. Seems I either need to get rid of the tabbed content or place ads in this page manually.

I couldn’t find the log you were using to debug issues, I took out the tabs and 2 ads show, but several others still dont, I would had expected the sidebar widget add to come back at least for sure.

Ok, I see it claiming to insert 5 now, but I only see 2, and I dont have any tabs or hidden content anymore so I have no idea what is happening.

Now the processing is much cleaner.

3 blocks are inserted out of the loop (3, 5, 5).

To avoid unwanted insertions enable Insert only in the loop for all 5 blocks:
