Ads not showing up in header side bar

Hello everyone. I can’t get any ads to show up in the header side bar widget. I was able to get ads to show up in other widget locations but not in the header side bar. Is there any way to fix this? If not, is there another way to get an ad to show up at the top of the page above my logo? Thanks.
