• I’m using the free EvoLve theme for my WordPress blog. The theme has spaces for 9 ads built in. When I past ad code into one of the ad boxes accessed from the EvoLve settings and then click save settings, my code is immeadiatly wiped out and no ads appear.

I’m not a coder but I’m not afraid to look in the code and paste or delete something if someone can provide me with basic instructions.

Any help is much appreciated.Thank you!

  • I have the same issue and I’m looking for a help.

I have the same issue. My code doesn’t get wiped, but the adds are not appearing. I’ve tried to put them in several locations : header, top of side bar and in a post. Nothing appears !

    Can anyone look into this?
    Thank you.

Im trying to post my add in the right upper corner

I have considered purchasing the pro version of evolve, but if the free version is starting to have glitches, I’m not so sure that it’d be a good idea

    What i did was,
I added a text box in my widgets area and pasted the code in it.
And now my ads work without any problems!
    Try it out!

This appears to be a problem with a particular version of the theme. I’m running two versions 1.1.6 without problems and version 1.2.9 with the problems discussed.

It looks like the theme doesn’t like any sort of scripting as I have tried google ads and the code is stripped out, whereas a simple reference to an image file works OK.

We need a fix from the author

Also on another note the scrolling slideshow at the top of the page doesn’t show on an iPhone when using version 1.2.9

I am using Absolum theme. How can I add ad space. If there are no options for adding ads, does that mean I can’t implement ads on my site with that theme or is there a trick to adding them.

You are using a different theme. Please post your own topic.
