  • Hi there,

Great to hear that you’re using AMP to improve your sites performance. I’ve checked your site and I can confirm you have the correct Auto ads snippet placed on your site, on both your AMP and canonical (non AMP) URLs. Like you I can see ads placed on your canonical URLs, so I suspect it’s just a matter of waiting a few days more if you recently setup AMP on your site. It’s not uncommon to take a few days before AMP ads start to appear initially.

I can check back with you later in the week or next week to ensure all works as expected. There is no issue with your ad snippet, I can see you’re using Site Kit to insert ad code.

I noticed also that you’re using Poseidon, an AMP compatible theme. Have you tried the plugin in transitional mode to ensure visual and feature parity?

    Hi James,

Thanks so much for your answer.

Actually we have had Adsense for quite a while. However this issue is new. Hopefully it will solve by itself as I don’t find anything to troubleshoot.

I will check your suggested Plug In. Actually I was looking for something to help us to homologate versions.

    Regards,

    BF

If you’ve been using AdSense and also AMP for some time then this is unusual. How long ago did you activate the AMP plugin, and do you recall ads appearing on your AMP URLs previously?

    Hi James,

Yes, we’ve been using AMP ads since last year. Everything was working fine some days ago.

I don’t see anything obvious that’s blocking AMP ads on your site. If you want to share your Site Health information via this form I can check and see if I can notice anything.

    Hi James,
It seems ads are back without anything from our side.

I appreciate your help and guidance.

Great to hear it. Many thanks for providing an update. I can’t be sure of the cause although keep an eye on your site with ads going forward. Should it occur again I’d be happy to investigate your setup.

    Hi @jamesosborne

I have read through all the topics here.
However, after trying all the suggested steps we are still experiencing problems with Analytics Google Kit on our page.

We are now running on PHP 8 and see the following error messages in Analytifs and AdSense Dashboards

    Data error in Analytics
<p>There has been a critical error on this website.</p><p>Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.</p>

In Analytics the overview shows correctly however
Top content over the last 7 days as well as Top acquisition channels over the last 7 days shows the error.

In AdSense the overview shows correctly, however Performance by page over the last 28 days is also showing the error.

    Appreciate any helo with this.
I can also provide you with credentials for the back-end or FTP.

    The site effected is https://www.livetube.tv

Many thanks for your support with this

    Hi @shelon,

If you can open an individual support topic we’d be happy to investigate this and ensure all works as expected in relation to the AMP plugin.

For your Analytics and AdSense related queries when you mention the dashboards are you referring to your Site Kit dashboards with your WordPress admin panel? If you want to share details on this within your support topic we’d be happy to check.

If the issue refers to Site Kit you can also open a support topic in the respective support forum. Note that while we’re unable to login to users sites we can suggest some actions to try and determine the cause.

    HI James,

    thanks for the swift response.
Yes this is in relation to the Google Sit Kit Dashboard.
Shall I open the topic in the other forum or do you have any tips for us?

    SH

Excellent! Please do open a support topic and we can communicate from there. If you want to share your Site Health information after opening a topic we can inspect your setup.

As the “crital error on your website” notice is a generic WordPress error message we can provide you with some troubleshooting suggestions after opening a support topic, in particular with the use of a Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
