Adsense ads not relevant

Hi,

I use the Default Kubrik theme. I’ve modified it some but still that is what it is at it’s core.

I added my adsense code so ads are served along the top on the single page, and have the thin skyscraper in the sidebar on the main index page.

In both – the ads are not relevant to the text of the posts. They are relevant to the name of the blog (My best guess to what the ads are being tied to in content).

Not sure what to do. I could change themes to an adsense ready one. But that has some design work I would have to do to customize it. So I’m just trying to figure out how to get the ads to work from the text of the posts. The URL is https://www.politicalmath.com/blog

It’s a political site and math that is used in politics. All the blog ads are about math worksheet, math degrees, etc. Nothing about politics or the text of a post.
