Adsense Ads Stopped Showing Up Randomly

    I recently noticed that ads from adsense stopped being displayed on my website. I went back to thoroughly check the website to see if anything happened or was changed and I can tell you possible roots of the problem.
    – I recently updated all the plugins / wordpress to the latest version
    – Someone recently told me that they spam clicked on some ads

    Those are the only issues I could think of because it is telling me that the auto ad code IS showing up (through the ad health things). I checked adsense and I have ZERO policy violations. Everything was inserted correctly and has been runnning swimmingly for the past several months, so I’m unsure as to why they aren’t being displayed anymore.

    thanks for reaching out.

    I can confirm that the ad codes are there and also contact AdSense. They decide to leave them empty. That could be due to a policy violation they have discovered and not shared with you, which happens.

    What you could try is replacing one or more of the ad units with a different type. If I am not mistaken, you are using In-article ad units. They are supposed to be placed within content, like blog posts. I didn’t find such content formats on your site. You could try the “Display” ad type instead and use a static size like 300×250. They are meant for different positions and often more stable in terms of showing ads. If they don’t work after an hour then it might be a policy thing after all.
