Adsense causes customiser to only show top of site

are you adding the ads into a widget area though a plugin. Can you show the page that having problems ?

I have tried both with the AdRotate plugin placed below content, and also code in a html custom widget

Currently the ads are in custom html widgets (I disabled AdRotate in case that as the issue but it isn’t)

I have now set up a test site, with Twentyseventeen, all plugins and pages deleted

No, but with testing I have eliminated plugins and themes as the problem

I meant to say the test site is https://test.tamingthesaxophone.com – no plugins just the Google code directly in the footer template.

If I remove just one line of code data-ad-format="auto" then the customiser is fine but then the ad doesn’t display

@voodoochill ok. Yesterday I tried to remove that line of code from the adsense codes, but they are not displayed on the site, while the preview is ok. Let’s keep up to date. Thanks.

It does indeed seem to be the Adsense code issue.

It looks like this plugin may actually solve it (or at least they are aware of the issue) haven’t tested thoroughly myself but worth a try:

@voodoochill I reported to Google AdSense the problem, they have corrected the code and now it works even if I enter the adsense code directly without a plug-in. ??
