I’m interested in having AdSense ads displayed for each author on a group weblog. So each author would have a seperate AdSense account, and depending on which author was posting, their particular AdSense code would be inserted into the template. That way each author can make money on their own postings, thus encouraging them to write and be more productive.

Has anyone heard of a way of doing this? Is there a plugin that can achieve this?

    Thanks for your help,

    Holden

I too would be most interested in a pluing that could achieve this.

AdSense should display things based on what is in the article and keywords. But, actually changing the code so it would display certain ads is agaisnt Google Adsense’s TOS.

Estjohn, I think you’ve misunderstood the query. What the OP is asking is in a multiple author blog where each author has their own adsense account, could their own individual adsense id be used instead of a general one that is hardcoded in the template.

This is entirely doable (if/else conditions in combo with get_author_name()) and entirely in line with Google’s TOS.
