This appears to be a common theme, but a few days ago I added the latest plugin to my wordpress site: https://www.glue-it.com/wp

However, I keep getting this error: “Error: The response is not a valid JSON response.” when trying to connect to adsense via the dashboard in adsense.

I then deactivated the old and no longer support adsense plugin to see if that was the issue – no change, same error.

I do still have hard coded adense adds on the pages – not sure if that is an issue or not.

Also, I have been using adsense for a number of years, so not a new account issue.

@editorglueitcom Did you get a chance to review the Loom video provided, or does the issue remain when attempting to connect the AdSense module?

    Hello James,

The errors are still the same. I removed some of the plugins such as Hummingbird as they were causing issues. However, the adsense adverts are all working fine and so haven’t seen the need.

I have just screen grabbed pages with the inspect console on and just turned them into a pdf. How can I share these with you as the form only appears to accept links? Google drive?

    Best regards, Nigel

    Hi James,

Interestingly I’ve noticed that adverts are being posted as banners etc and different to previously on the front page https://www.glue-it.com/wp . Not sure if this means the code is working anyway?

But, I have a pdf of the screenshot errors it generates and can share these as a pdf

    Best regards, Nigel

Thanks for the update and apologies for the late response. In order to share the updates with PDF feel free to include a link to them with the same form you used previously.

I’ve also checked your site and yes, ads do seem to be loading fine. As the error message you’re encountering when setting up the AdSense module can appear in different circumstances can you share whether you’ve encountered this notice elsewhere, such as after saving or publishing a post?

@editorglueitcom since we have not heard from you, I will mark your topic as resolved. Please open a new support topic if you have further questions.
